Prof. Dr. Nadeem Irfan Bukhari
Professor Nadeem Irfan Bukhari, previously associated with the University of Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan, has assumed the role of the inaugural dean at Qarshi University’s newly established Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. During his tenure as dean and principal, at the Punjab University College of Pharmacy (PUCP), he played a pivotal role in enhancing the infrastructure, developing postgraduate programs, and designing the curriculum. Dr. Nadeem is widely recognized for his innovative and creative approach to governance, education, and research. He has served as a full-time and visiting faculty member in various countries, including the United Kingdom, Australia, and Malaysia.
The admissions process for Qarshi University’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences is set to commence soon, inviting applications for its first group of students. The program promises an exceptional learning environment and a distinctive opportunity for professional education. It will prioritize experiential learning by incorporating internships and training, enabling graduates to apply classroom knowledge to real-life situations. As the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Eastern Medicine & Allied Health Sciences, it gives me immense pleasure and pride to extend a warm welcome to all of you on behalf of the enthusiastic members of the faculty. I am privileged to lead a community of academicians, physicians, scientists, and other healthcare support staff dedicated to cultivating an environment of intellectual curiosity and empowering individuals to achieve their fullest potential.
Comprising the departments of Eastern Medicine and Allied Health Sciences at present, we are offering undergraduate courses in Natural Medicine, Medical Lab Technology, Human Nutrition & Dietetics, with the addition of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from this academic session. Our integrated faculty of researchers, specialized consultants, and physicians practicing allopathic and Eastern Medicine provide a rich learning experience, individualized support, and professional direction, nurturing future healthcare professionals with a strong emphasis on real-world clinical immersion and training in current medical methodologies, ensuring our students are well-equipped for the dynamic healthcare landscape.
Our collaboration with healthcare providers at the Indus Hospital, Mansoora Hospital, and Hijaz Hospital, alongside cutting-edge laboratories, engages our students in enriching clinical experiences, integrating traditional therapeutic methods with contemporary scientific understanding, and ensuring comprehensive skill development aligned with industry advancements. This makes our graduates adept at tackling the challenges of modern healthcare.
