Nadeem Irfan Bukhari is a Professor, Researcher, and Cartoonist. His Field of Expertise: Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics & Pharmacokinetics, Radiopharmacy, Formulation by artificial intelligence and Communication through Cartoons. Dr. Nadeem is recognized for outstanding contributions to pharmaceutical research and education. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology and has dedicated his career to advancing research in drug development, and drug delivery systems. With decades of experience in academia Dr. Nadeem has held prominent positions at leading National and International Universities and research institutions, from lecturer to professor and Principal to Dean contributing significantly to the education and training of future pharmacists and researchers.

Dr. Nadeem has authored and co-authored numerous research papers in high-impact journals. He is the author of various books including “Understanding compartment models”, “Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics – An activity based learning, “Hospital Pharmacy” and co-author of “Pharmaceutical Management & Marketing”. Several of his books have been recommended by Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan for its Pharm D program. As a member in the Panel of Experts, Ministry of Health, Government of Pakistan, he provided consultation on the matters related to pharmaceutical industry. He delivered invited lectures and participated in scientific discussions at local and international institutions.

In addition to his scientific contributions, Dr. Nadeem is renowned for his unique ability to communicate complex scientific concepts through cartoons. He is also an editorial cartoonist in the Daily Pakistan Observer where his cartoons published daily on politics, social aspects, science and education. Dr. Nadeem’s dual expertise as a pharmaceutical scientist and cartoonist has made him a unique and influential figure.

[1] Provided a concept to avoid counterfeit drugs in the market, which has been adopted by the Government of Punjab in 2016.
[2] Initiated an “inter-departmental blood donation campaign” where different departments of the University of the Punjab were involved to collect blood for thalassemia patients.
[3] Organized a 2-day blood donation camp at PUCP during 2016 and 2017 for thalassemic patients of Fatimid Foundation (Lahore Centre).

Cartooning is one of my prominent hobbies.
