Dr. Modasrah Haroon is serving as Assistant Professor-Biochemistry in the Faculty of Medicine, Eastern Medicine and Allied Health Sciences at Qarshi University Lahore.  Dr. Modasrah Haroon is a highly accomplished individual who has made significant contributions to the field of Medical Biochemistry.

Her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from University of Central Punjab in Lahore, for which she has completed her research work from UCP and PCSIR, Lahore with the roll of honour, is a testament to her exceptional intellect and dedication to her field. She qualified her M. Phil in Biochemistry from University of Lahore, Lahore and M.Sc in Biochemistry from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Faisalabad. She had been working as Lecturer of Biochemistry in the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (IMBB) at The University of Lahore, Lahore. She had also served as Quality Assurance Officer in Reko Pharmacal (pvt.) Limited, Lahore showing her analytical skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance Department. She has 16 years of marvellous teaching experience from University of Lahore, and Qarshi University.

Further showcasing her expertise in the research area, Dr. Modasrah’s research primarily focuses on Phytochemical Profiling, Pharmacological Potential of Bioactive compounds in medicinal plants and drug designing, enzymology and molecular biology. She has supervised many Research projects at Graduation and Post-Graduation level. She has published many research articles in esteemed peer reviewed National and International Journals. She has participated in various National and International conferences/seminars/symposium as keynote speaker and organizer. She has remarkable teaching and research conducting skills. She has excellent administrative qualities. Her services during her academic career remained appreciable.
